1 Grahame, Kenneth; Maxfield Parrish, Illustrator Dream Days London John Lane, The Bodley Head 1902 First edition thus Hard Cover Very Good  Grahame's famous book of children's stories, beautifully illustrated with 8 half tone plates, plus frontispiece, each tissue covered with red inked description. Text illustrations at the end of each chapter. Very faint damp stain to upper corner of first 20 pages, starting on pp 187 to end, lower edge and corner have mild damp stain, all illustrations and text clean. Illustrated e.p., f.e.p. decorative small name plate, owners initials to upper right corner. Cloth khaki colored, gilt lettering to spine, gilt and color stamped castle scene to front, small fade spotting to spine, lower rear board scuff mark 1 1/2 inch with red stain on edge of scuff. Printed on heavy weight paper. First quire loosening, still attached. Contents page chipping at gutter, partially unattached.
